Assets Discovery
Find assets you didn't know you had, review them, and import the ones that are yours
Running a discovery
- Click Trigger Discovery.
- Enter a root domain (e.g.
example.com) — Securelyze will look for similar domains, subdomains, and resolved IPs. - The run starts in the background; you get a toast immediately and another when it finishes. While a run is in progress the page polls automatically and the Refresh button reads "Scanning…".
Reviewing results
- The run selector lists past discovery runs with their domain, asset count, date, and status (Running / Completed / Failed).
- The results table shows each discovered asset's value, type, status (Pending / Imported / Ignored), and discovery time — with the same search and filters as the Assets page.
Importing or ignoring
- Per row: hover a row and use the green ✓ (Approve / Import) or red ✕ (Reject / Ignore).
- In bulk: tick multiple rows, then Import or Ignore from the selection bar.
- Ignoring prompts for an optional reason, useful for audit trails ("belongs to marketing agency", "decommissioned").
Imported assets appear in your Assets inventory and are included in future Security Scans.
